firestorm engine trouble.. help?
1 Attachment(s)
I put a new engine on my firestorm a couple of weeks ago. its still being broken in, and its only on its 7th tank or so. I went to start it, and the cord pulled freely. I thought it was the one-way bearing, but after checking it out, i found that the OWB was working fine. i took apart the motor and found that the problem was the little pin between the crank and the connecting rod. the pin is flush with the connecting rod, and not catching on the plate to spin the motor. I compared the pin to the one on my onld motor, and its not sheared or broken. anybody know what/why this is, or how to fix it? thanks

RE: firestorm engine trouble.. help?
it seems the little spring inside the crank recess (under where the pin sits) has been broken. thats all i can presume from what i see on the pics, i honestly would not know where to get one....sorry <div> good luck on fixing it! </div>
