Got this from my uncle the other day and im lost to what model it is and he cant remember so im here. from what he says it was last run atleast 20 years ago if not more and he says some parts are from other models like the front a-arms and shock tower. hope the pics turn out first time posting any

There is a tamiya logo on the front bulkhead area.. but other than that it's too ghetto for me. Im sure someone else will get it thoughhttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif

Looks like a tamiya hornet with a few different parts.

Actually it's not a tamiya. It's a tamiya knock off from the late 80's early 90's. There were a number of them back then. The world engines road runner and rock buster were the most common. They were actually pretty well built and rather rare. A couple of others were cyclone and cyclone 2.

From what's left of body it appears you have a rock bUster.

Parts are still available on eBay. I bought a complete unbuilt car about 2 yrs ago for $50 so parts aren't expensive. The other thing is the grasshopper and hornet parts all fit so no worries.

I've found a couple of complete cars over the years along with a few parts cars. At one point I had all four knock offs mentioned but now I have only the rock buster and a cyclone.
