Need some help.

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to the RCworld. Right now I'm looking for a fun electric car. I would like a Lamborghini, Porsche, etc., but I'm not sure which specific brand/model is best. My price range goes up to about$60-$70but feel free to mention more expensive ones if youbelive they are worth it. Also, what would be a good scale? I think either 1/14 or 1/10 but I'm not sure. There is a park near me with a smooth outdoor basketball half court as well as a track going around the entire park. This would be primarily where I would drive the car. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

you are not going to find anything in that range outside some newbrights at target. And honestly this is the wrong place to ask about those.

And what kind of price range should I be looking at?

at least 2-3 times what you want to spend on the RC alone if you want 1/10th
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZES2&P=7 Lamborghini $220(this is a kit, and would still require around $60 in parts to make work as well as being built)
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...TT01&search=Go all RTR Tamiyas

All the tamiyas will require a battery, and charger which will cost around $60 for a decent setup.

1/32
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBGPM&P=7 $100 this is fully RTR (No idea how good it is, I want one personally just never bought it)

if you go buggy, or truck you get a few more options.

you can buy a redcat onroad RTR or electrix for maybe $120, they are not the cars you want but you can always buy and install a lambo porche ect. body later.

This is really more what I had in mind. I'm not that serious about getting into RC, I'm just looking for something to play around with when I have free time.

Hmmm. Yeah that is a toy grade car. Your not going to find anything hobby grade for that price. If your not to serious about getting into real RC'ing then get the one in the link you provided. Its is a pretty nice scale version. The thing with hobby grade its that they perform better, can be modified any number of ways, and if something breaks you can always get replacement parts. You can't do that with a toy grade RC. Well good luck.
