ESC and Motors - Terrible Soldering and Wiring Methods

I just soldered my ESC and Motor. Coming from an electrical background I was disappointed. The industry should be able to come up with better connectivity and universal connectors. The tekin rs gen 2 came with wire that in no way is going to fit in the tiny little slot on the ESC post.

Part of the problem is smaller esc(s); smaller is not always better.

Anyway, just wanted to rant a little. Disappointed in the entire wiring system.

you would hate to see all my rc stuff....I stopped soldering some time ago as I HATE it. I twist tie (braid) all my wires and wrap with elec tape. Looks like crap but does work. My lipos have 2 different battery plugs on the same lead.
You would think after 7 years in the hobby I would buy some proper soldering equipment and learn how to solder:rolleyes:
