engine upgrade buggy
can you get a better engine for a speedy tiger buggy??
|
RE: engine upgrade buggy
wow - never heard of that buggy. Is it 8th or 10th scale? Most buggies will accept most engines, as long as they match with regard to the crank shaft.

RE: engine upgrade buggy
well its 1/10 scale, it was in rc car action magazine its made by smarttech. it there was also winner 3 next to the name

RE: engine upgrade buggy
HEH, the 15 CXP isn't that bad, and you can fit any side exhaust engine in there I'm sure, try a Megatech .16 or XTM .15 or even an OS CV .12 or .15, or better yet an EPIC .18!

RE: engine upgrade buggy
how much is amegatech .16, and how much is a XTM .15??
im looking for somthing good between 100 to 150 dollars. i want to star racing my buggy |
RE: engine upgrade buggy
if u want to start racing, and that is your budget, go with nothing other than the OS MAx .12CV-R. it will set u back about 100.00 and produces more power than two of the engines u are using now. approx 1.2
nothing beats OS durability, reliability, and power. Also, if racing, then u must stick with .12 engines only, as that is the only size allowed per ROAR rules. |
RE: engine upgrade buggy
do most hobby stores carry that engine? i go to hobby town usa. and 100 dollars isnt that bad:)

RE: engine upgrade buggy
yes , OS Engines are about as popular as Honda's and Toyota's. You will have no trouble finding support, or parts.
