Castle ESC Compatibility

2 Attachment(s)
I recently bought a Blitz off a friend that was missing an ESC. I have a spare VXL ESC, but I'm not too sure if its very compatible. I also do not know what model or anything about the motor, wether its a sidewinder or mamba monster or whatnot. Can someone clarify this for me? http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=1951582http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=1951583

That motor seems to be a Castle Sidewinder CM36-5700, as stated here. If your spare ESC is a VXL-3S, it should work fine with that motor.

VXL should power it, though the VXL mostly drives 2 pole motors and that's a 4 pole. If you keep the gearing light, it'll be fine. But then you'll be losing the 4 pole advantage. Run it til it burns, then get something better.
