Battery charging

I have a tenergy 6v hump pack and have a 7.5 volt charger at 300ma and was wondering how long i need to charge my battery

RustyUs 08-19-2015 05:34 PM

What is the capacity of the hump pack?

Hardrock6788 08-19-2015 07:28 PM

Its a 6v 3300 mah pack

If it is an almost "dead"/fully drained pack,it would take around 11 hours to fully charge.

Dude, if you are serious about the hobby (serious, meaning, "I DIG this, and am not going to give it up anytime soon") then get yourself a decent charger. You're using NiMhs now, but if you really dig this hobby, you're going to go brushless and Lipo eventually. If you got this charger, you would have the only charger you'll probably ever need. Charges ALL types of batteries. You'll be much happier with one of those than the cheapo trickle chargers.

When you DO go Lipo, just be sure to read up on the "care and feeding" of Lipo packs. They're just a little different than NiMhs.
