IS NITRO WORTH IT???

Having spent £300 on my shiny new REX-X, used it twice, it has now completely ballsed up! I have tried everything possible to get it to start with no luck. I feel like chucking the pi**ing thing in the bin, and if my LHS cant find a solution next week, I think I probably will!!!!

yes nitro is worth it. my first nitro was a used rc10gt with a os15cvx in it and it didn't run or start or do anything except give me bloody knuckles from the head being so sharp. found out it had no compression so i put in a new piston and sleeve. still didn't work. almost chucked it like you but i stayed with itand replaced the engine. now i am up to 3 trucks and can't believe how much more enjoyable this hobby is without having to replace a battery pack every 5 minutes.

well worth it.

Where did you get your MBX Pro from? I am thinking of getting one for my wife from TowerHobbies.com

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAXV1&P=C

It does not look like the one of OFNA's website.....

http://www.ofna.com/umbxpro.html

Which one did you get?

Yes. No expensive chargers, escs, batteries... It all adds up, and unless you NEED reverse, nitro is the way to go. In the end, it can be cheaper unless you buy an overpriced car to begin with. Or an overpriced charger to charge your reciever/transmitter packs:).

Whats the problem? Prime engine, turn engine over and ur off :)

Unless you have a flat glow warmer, blown plug etc... then it can take some time to start that engine hehehehehe A glow warmer with a meter is a BIG HELP. It will tell you straight away u have glow problems or not.

How are you starting it? you are getting fuel to the engine first arnt you?
