MIPS boost

Does anyone know if this is a worthwhile upgrade. I have a Tmaxx (Traxxas engine) and I' m looking for hopups that will boost the truck performance. Any help is appreciated.

thanks,

Boost bottles and chambers don't do jack. The theory behind them is that they are supposed to store fuel/air mixture at low throttle so upon acceleration the engine doesn't bog down because it has loaded up. I have tried them just because one came with an engine I bought and was already drilled for it.

boost bottles are claimed to make throttle response smoother, nothing about adding power. If you want raw power, drive your car without a pipe or muffler. Then you will have great power but no engine life.

With a TT pro .15 engine in your T-Maxx, the best hopup at this point is to get a better engine. a .12 for racing, like some of the RB rear exhaust ones, or go with a big block .15 or .21 (you need some type of big block conversion for that) and enjoy all the power you would ever want. Even better, buy a conversion for twin .21 engines, and you will have the best acceleration and torque on earth :)
