Wheel problem
 

Yesterday I exchanged my motor for a motor I got for free some handout nd it makes my car go faster. Heres the thing. When I go full throttle down the sreet my back wheels bump up and down and it seems to slow my car down alot and at a certain speed the wobbling slowly turns my car. This is a offroad evader st with gladiators in the back. I tried tightning he wheel on several times but it still wobbled. Can anyone help me? Whats the problem???

Did it do that before you switched motors? If not, you might have the new motor mounted loosely, letting it rattle around a bit.

Do you have your tires glued on the rims? If not, the extra speed could be helping your tires try to come off the rims.

Does it do the 'wobbling' in the dirt, too? Just a thought... the gladiators have some big knobs on em'!

Is it making a clunky sound when it runs? Loud rattles tend to mean tranny trouble - let's hope that's not the case.

Im pretty sure it did not do this before I switched the motor. The motor makes my car go a little faster. The motor is mounted tight, but the wheels are coming off the rim a little do you think thats it should I glue it on???

That's probably the ticket...

You'll need to CA glue them - there's a channel around the inside and outside edge of the wheel. Put some CA glue around the channel, then seat the tire in the channel. You don't need a bunch, just a thin bead of glue. It helps to put a rubber band around the outside of the tire to hold it securely while the glue dries. Just do one side of each tire at a time.

If you don't have any CA glue, use superglue - it's the same thing in a different package.

While we're at it, make sure you have some acetone (or fingernail polish remover) handy. The ca glue will stick your fingers together if you get it on you. The acetone also makes it easy to clean up your work if some of the glue runs down the tire or rim. Again - avoid using too much of the glue.
