nitro rusltler prob! help!!!
 
i recently switched my nitro rustler from ez start to a pull start on the .15 engine. it ran fine up until this switch and now it wont start. the spark plug is fine does anyone have any idea wat the problem here is? thanks in advanced :)

youll prob find a soultion to that on the traxxas nitro rustler forums they alwayys have posts like that and lots on rustler experts:D

Have you got other cars with a pull start system?

Assuming the pullstarter was properly isntalled, just keep at it and eventually it should start, just prime it and give it a little throtle when your pulling the starter, eventually it should get easier to pull the starter, once it does that prime it again and it should start within a few pulls.

The one way nut may be binding on itself (metal retaining race came loose on the inside) or god forbid you put it on backwards. Also it could be seized to the shaft by a small peice of dirt of somthing.

thanks for that guys
well.... now i can get it started just fine lol.... but when i take the glow starter out it immediatly dies, whats the prob now !!

Change the plug to one that works and youll be okay , RED

try leaving the glow starter on the engine a little while longer untill it heats up

ok thx i will try that i think it also might be the settings of the fuel mixtures and other settings
