RE: help?????
www.tamiyausa.com have a page for most of their cars with a PDF of part numbers, contact a Model shop and try ordering the part number direct.
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/ Is a site with lots of obsessed Tamiya fans on it (the sort of guys who have two of every kit, one for running and one NIB (new In Box)) - if no one there can help then you are doomed - but I think they have a parts shop on the site that should help. It is based on the Mad Fighter buggy, so try looking for mad fighter parts - apart from the shell and the wheels they are identical... I have a Mad Bull, it was my first "Propper RC". They are good fun - but wait till you move onto a race ready one! - I got a Yokomo Mr4BC after the Madbull and the handeling was unbeleivable in comparison! Good luck Ahab. |
RE: help?????
the parts i am looking for are not exactally easy to find using this method.... im trying to find the parts: MB10x2

RE: help?????
I cant help with the parts really. I have not really bothered with my madbull since I cannibalised it for my yokomo.
I can tell you that the 11t motor will overheat VERY quickly in a madbull - the bull is geared for a 27t stock motor, and due to the way the motor is mounted you cant gear it down enough (at all?) to run such a low turn motor. I was running a 23x2 and that was getting dangerously hot! - 11t will probably be suicide. your best hopup route for the Bull would be a bearing kit all round - that made the biggest difference to my bulls performance. good luck - try tamiyaclub.com - like I said they love their tamiyas there and can probably name a few specialist suppliers. As I recall tamiya sell their parts by the bag, so you might have to buy a whole gearbox, just to get the c3 motor cover, but there were a few suppliers that sold open bags. Ahab. |
