RE: Duratrax Street Force GP2
ORIGINAL: GoldenPoint STOP IGNORIN ME!!!! If you want any opinion, here's one from someone who's never seen a touring car run, but has read reviews, etc. Duratrax's quality has come way up recently, and the GP2 is by all reports a very good car. BUT, for only a little more money, you could have a Nitro TC3, which from what i hear is the standard in touring cars. It's probably hard for anyone to recommend the GP2 over the TC3. If you just want a car to burn around in parking lots, or the occasional race. The gp2 will suit you. If you're planning on racing, or going nuts with hop-ups, save the extra dough for the tc3 i'd say. BTW, one plus the gp2 has going for it is warranty. Associated won't touch the Duratrax warranty. Break a stress-tech part (plastic) in the first year? Free replacement. Wear out your engine from normal use inside the 2 year warranty? Free fix. You can't beat that. |
