First Nitro Car

I've been doing electic for a couple of years now and want to get my first on road gas. I am looking at the HPI Super Nitro or the HPI RS4 2. Which one would you choose and why? I like the Super because of the drive shafts instead of belts. Also how can I make this car as quite as possible (neighbors)?

Yo!

I would go with the Nitro RS4 2. It is 1/10th scale, and that is what most have. Having a bigger car will give you an unfair advantage since you could just push everyone around. Also, most tracks would not let you compete against other cars due to the size difference.

As far as the muffler/tuned pipe goes, try out what comes with the car. If it is too loud, then worry about a different pipe. You would want one with an internal baffle, if that were the case.

Later!

nrctc3,
Do you work for Associated? The reason I ask, is, you sound like a forum advertiser. Granted, Associated makes durable pruducts, but there are faster cars/trucks out there for less money. The bottom line is, put a NoviRossi engine in just about any car/truck and you will have a high-performance screamer.
