4WD Problem

Hi

I am new to all this RC Stuff but i have recently built th Kysho Astra with the "Nitro Racer" Issues. It is working the engine is awsome however the drive shafts for the front wheels seem to be two short and slip out of the differential. i have taken them out for now so i run on rear wheel drive. Anyone with any ideas on how to sort out the front wheels????

RE: 4WD Problem

try putting the driveshaft from the back wheels on to the front and visa versa. the front and back might be two different sizes.

Not familiar with the Astra Nitro car really (there is a whole thread dedicated to it below somewhere, so it might be a common problem)

but a problem with short drive shafts falling out of diff cups can often be solved by cutting a small piece of fuel tubing to act as a spacer in the diff cup to hold the shaft in place.

High end Driveshafts such as MPI CVD's come with a spring to do this, but fuel tube can work just as well.

Using small rubber "o-rings" works just as well as fuel tubing if you have some lying around...
