HI how is everyone doing this fine evening, I am looking to buy an RC car with a remote and everything for 350 or 300 without body what do you suggest I really want one that can drift well. Also I was wondering if any were they had like a blue print of what is inside of an RC car and what the parts do. any help is appreciated also I am into Go-peds so I know how 2 strokes work but I don't know that much about them when they are this small.

also you might just want to a regualr touring car such as the nitro TC3, TC4, TA-05... and just install drift tires such as: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXGMV9&P=ML

or you could use electrical tape over the tires which is said to work but not as good as the drift tires of course electrical tape is way cheaper

In my experience, with nitro, all you do is tune tune tune. With electric, you have less problems, but more electronic parts that break, like speed controllers that decide to retire whenever they feel like it. My vote is for electric

Welcome to the hobby of RC. Try nitrorc.com. It explains all the basics of the engines, carburetors, tires etc.

If you want to drift, you can buy wheels that allows the car to drift.

Nitro

Pros:
fast out of the box
more bang for your buck
higher maintenance- most people enjoy working on their cars
attracts more attention than electric
more fun to drive- my opinion
you will enjoy it if you enjoy any type of motorsports
long run times=more fun
no need to worry about charging battery packs

Cons:
outdoor only
loud- can't drive in neighborhood
engine sometimes has tuning problems/won't start
messy- 2 stroke engine= fuel on the car
crashes are worst
fuel is expensive

The fun you have when driving nitro will out weigh the cons.

you wouldn't know a website that has a diagram of the chasis of the rc cars? I really need to learn about these things before I get into them I am almost sure I am going to get a HPI RS4 Pro 4 Touring Car Kit or a HPI Nitro RS4 3 Evo RTR.
