no worries,
pick anyone you like. I am currently doing the same. I have about 4 electric cars;
xxx-t mf1 all TEAM LOSI
xxx-bk2
mini-t
xxx-s

My dad and i wanted to get into some gas cars, we went strait out and bought an LST. Wow, nitro cars are kick @$$ and they really are not hard to tune. I say pick one you like and it wont take long to learn. I also have to warn you that the LST is expensive.

here is my collection (some of them)

beginners tend to really like having electric start for ease, i know i do. once the engine starts wearing out or it becomes out of tune, pulling that rope get old and painful really fast.

Do you two think that this is a chat room? If you really need help with something post and WAIT for an answer from someone that is willing to help you. Flooding the thread with short comments makes it hard for guys and gals to come in and help. Hate to be harsh but with what I've been reading from you two I would say to stay with electric. No offense but I don't think your ready for it by the questions that you've been asking in the forums.

sigh, I don't think that you are understanding what I'm saying. It's not always a matter of whether or not you have a challenge driving or if you have the initial money to purchase the vehicle. Nitro is about maintinence, tuning and responsibility. It's not that I'm trying to say nitro is bad it's just more work. I'll tell you right now that without a doubt in my mind you'll be working on it more than driving it.
The next thing that plays a role is funding. You may have enough for a truck but what about fuel, after run oil, battery for starter, charger for starter, extra glow plugs, fuel bottle, etc. It's all small but it does add up.
If you want have at it but don't be surprised when it sits in the garage because you can't start it or because you don't have the money to replace half the truck when you smack a curb at 50.
Oh well I guess I'm the only one on here that thinks you aren't ready for it.
