1/8 buggy vs 1/10 stadium truck

Which would be better for bashin, a buggy or a 4wd stadium truck like the hpi mt2. The buggy would be a cheaper ofna rtr.

I dont want a monster truck.

i would have to say a buggy. Tougher, faster and bigger. Buggys are extremely sttrong cause of the way they are built. U can jump them higher and longer than monster trcuks and they will not break. OFNA make good buggys and i have heard alot about the hyper 7 to. The buggy will have better handling to.

Id personally go with the ST, im not into really into buggy's. I like the added ground clearance.

is the ofna ultra comp 2 faster?

Isn't the ground clearance about the same?

No, buggy's sit much lower to the ground.

On tower hobbies it says the buggy gets 1.4 inches and the mt2 gets 1.5

Anyone have vids of the ofna?

I have an old cheapie ofna buggy and it still holds up great. I don't think I'll ever go back to a Stadium truck again. Buggys are tough and have good acceleration and top speed.

The 1/8 buggy will be a much tougher basher. Ground clearance is the same. I think some folks think you're comparing 1/10 buggy to 1/10 ST. Everything on the 1/8 is bigger, therefor tougher.
