Problem with MRC 977

Still trying to charge brand new radiop shack gp 3300's, Was charging them at 1.60 amp rate and it keeps stopping and going into trickle mode at .06 rate. But even after restarting it several times the mah on the one bettery is only at like 1200. (battery b),but that battery is warm. Battery A not warm and is only at like 450 mah. The code for the stoppage is 02. SHould I keep restarting them until they reach 3300 or what? Been doing this for like 2 hours already.

This is a common problem when using a peak charger to charge a brand new pack.After it false peaks,let it cool,and then disharge the pack to .9v a cell.Then let cool again,and charge it up again.This may take a few cylces until it fully charges.
