Help needed. No fuel getting through to engine

Newbie needing help please

!Hi. For some reason theres no fuel getting from the tank to the engine. When I try to prime it by blowing through the fuel line, I can see the fuel going a little way towards the carbs but it just gets stuck and wont blow right through.

Any ideas? All pipes and the tank are not blocked or anything. Must be a problem with the carb?

Thanks

My money would be on a clogged HSN assembly. Record how many turns out from fully closed the high speed needle is - and then unscrew it fully. It may also help to remove the brass housing - not a difficult job.

Look them over and give them a blast of compressed air, nitro cleaner, WD-40 etc - anything that will remove grime. Then just reassemble. If you've got any special grease for the rubber o-rings then apply a bit of that asit'll help prevent air leaks. Silicone sealent around the base of the HSN assembly where it mounts to the body of the carb will also help reduce the possibility of an air leak developing.

Thanks mate but Ive already sorted it now.

I followed some ones advice setting the carb mixture screws up and they were totally wrong! They were that wrong that there was no fuel going through at all. I took all the motor and carbs to bits to check and clean before relising all I had to do was adjust the needles! Ah well, you live and learn!

Now ive just got to get it running as good as possable, so if you have any advice reguarding adjusting the mixture screw let me know

If you've got the factory settings then just start from there. Otherwise just get it to start at least and tune it so there so it's crisp (not blubbery, not starved of fuel) and fast off the line with a fine trail of smoke at full throttle.
