A leak in the engine....?
 

Hi ,after about half a tank of fuel theres about 10 drops of fuel surrounding the idle screw,around the whole carb,and mostly around the hsn and the idle screw.How do i fix this problem,and its not the o ring.What could it be and how to fix?

I had the same problem. It is probably the line that goes from the fuel tank to the exhast, it probably has a hole or leak in it. You just need to get a new fuel line (there cheap), and take the old one off. unscrew fuel tank, put new line on (make sure its on there tight), and reconnect to the exhaust. It will not start right away as it will need to build up pressure.

So you think its the fuel line even though theres fuel near the carb/Why?

The line that connects the fuel tank to the exhaust isnt a fuel line, its a pressure line. if that has a leak the pressure is being let out so the engine does not have enough pressure to run. Your fuel line is fine being that the car is running, however if the leak gets worse the car wont run and you cant get it started until you replace that line. Try to notice if anything else aroung the engine is wet.

Ok well my car is not going to be running for a few days...im waiting for and order of spur gears and clutchbells...since they stripped.Im going to take the car apart,check the fuel line,if theres no hole then i will check the engine for an air leak,tighten the slipper clutch,and put new oil in my shock since my shocks are so easy to push downthat bascially my chassy touches the ground withput me even putting pressure on the shocks!.Thanks,anything else it could be?

If you bottom out alot than you could of punctured something underneath. I fI were you I would just get a new set of lines and replace them.

A quick question, is it definitely fuel that is leaking or something else?

Lol i dont want to taste it,i am pretty sure its fuel dont think its oil what else could it be?
