temperature reading.....

where should i take the temperature ofmy engine from?? i have an infra red thermometer thing lol, but should the temp be taken from the the middle of the coling head (where the glow plug sits) or from lower down the engine??

You wanna take the tempature right at the glow plug for the most accurate engine running temps.
