Trying to make a Track

Suggestions PLEASE!

trying to setup a portable RC track for onroad electric cars. Is there a place that sell equipment, or should I just buy some PCP pipe?

what scale cars are you going to use on the track? Inside or outside? My LHS uses old firehoses for barriers but it is outside and fairly large track. If it is mini z or x-mods you are racing, id recomend the type of track seen in post #11 in the above link. The only thing is that i dont know where to buy it. you can ask the guy that posted the pic and post, but i think that it is expensive.

I'd go with some bright colored garden hose and a few of those metal disk things. Actually does anyone know were to get those discs, the heavy metal ones? You can also fill the garden hose with sand and seal the ends so it wont move much when you hit it. Maybe add some duct tape to keep it in place.

I think my LHS uses fire hose as well.

well those work, but mine and Gex_61 LHS (Racers Haven) tried those and they only lasted for about a season or two but they also moved them around alot. the metal disks though are old tractor disks that tear up the ground.
