I REALLY wasn't in the market for a MT. But after about as much reasearch as I could handle into every excuse I could muster, it became apparent that for where and how I planned to do 90% of my driving, it was going to be the smartest choice (as a performer, anyway).

So after much consideration, I have ordered a Savage (found one in stock online for $399). I hope to replace the body soon with a nice excursion or suburban to try to make myself feel better about it (ha).

This almost felt like a confession :)

So you sold out?

Just kidding. I've been toying with the idea of adding an MT or two to my stable.

I really want the Monster GT.. nuff said :)

I'm gonna wait till it comes out to do my evaluation.

Chances are I'll devise some kind of equation to figure out the worthiness of a given RC car..lol

Yeah, I guess I joined the 'dark side'. I like the looks of the STs and buggies a lot more than the looks of most MTs (I'm not a big fan of super high profile tires, for one, so I think some 40-series wheels will be in my future), but I'm too old to not be practical.

Ah, well, I figure they'll all be fun!

Is that a 1/8 or 1/10 scale MT?

1/8 scale, w/ a .21BB stock. Several of the newer engines (like the 8port and 24.7) are bolt-in replacements, which was the biggest single influencing factor in my decision (buying a t-maxx to spend another 400 hopping it up to take a .21 wasn't a good plan in my eyes).

It is a big sucker, but from everything I've read, a great handling truck. We'll see, I hope so!

yah its bigger but also slower, but hey, if i get a MT, size is gonna make my decision, not brand or speed. If I can afford a Titan thats what im gonna get :D
