looks ok, i could of sworn i knew the throttle linkage had a post connected to it. if you look you can see it run all the way from the front servo to the motor at a 45 degree angle..... o you know what its the .15 pro with rotary carb. thats why. anyway its hard to say the tmaxx with a .15......ehhhhh the tmaxx is real big. i dont think the .15 will do justice. maybe a decent trail crawler, backyard basher. but dont expect anything over 25mph. personnaly i would go with the tmaxx and drop a 100 dollar axial motor in it.

that is an original t-maxx, I had one, it ran ok. When I say original I mean it came with a clear body instead of the painted ones you get now, it came with a TRX 2.5 not even the TRX2.5R, you can also tell by the adapter that fits over a battery pack instead of the new wand style battery holder they use now as well as the tires. I dont care for the fact that it's sttin there with a half tank of fuel in it, looks a little clean to have just been running it before the pictures so.... I bought mine in 1999 so that'll tell ya how long ago they were available. Im sayin that thing is 7-8 years old. Mine did right around 35-40 with .15 (2.5). I'd probably pass up on both of them and buy a new RTR. The buggy would be a good deal if you could guarantee the starting issue wasn't a carb or air leak problem. Just my 2 cents, keep the change.
