Need advice for track construction
Does anyone know where to buy the flexible black or white plastic tubing used to lay out the borders for an offroad track? I would like to buy it in bulk. I found it at Home Depot but they only have 100' rolls and they want almost 50$ for one. I need 1700 feet.
Also, has any of you had any experience with the Spektrum personal timing system? |

On this topic how do most tracks affix this to the track surface?
Is there an decent flush clamp to go around the piping that can then be properly put into the ground so any cars hitting it (a) wont be damage by anything not flush? N |
RE: Need advice for track construction
If this track is for your local club and you need to raise money, we will be pleased to donate some products if you have a race, raffle, etc. on the books. We know how tough and expensive it is to get a good track in place, sponsor races, etc., so we like to help out when we can. Let us know!

Thanks
Now that I know what the correct name for the stuff is , that will get me closer. |

The way I see it done most often is with timber spikes. That is a fancy name for really big nails. The type I bought are twelve inches long and you simply hammer the spike through the drain tile and into the track surface.
