i have the hpi ss rc car with a lot of upgrades, it runs excellent but there is one problem i need to upgrade my servos, i'm using the stock servos that came with the JRxr3, is there a fairly low priced JR servo that i can get. is the JR Z550 servos good?

The Z550 comes with the XS3 and has around 80oz of torque, this is from memory so I may be off a little. You could go with a Hitec MG645 that runs aroudn $50 and has 130oz of torque, again from memory. But the Hitec is a good servo, I use this one (645) with my XS3 radio in a RC10GT and have been very pleased.

You can get the Hitec MG645 servo for $39.99 at Tower Hobbies. Here is the link so you can see the specs http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUZ90&P=7

Yes, if you order that one just make sure it has the JR, Air Z, ect connections. The only other choice is the Futaba J so there is only two choices. The one in the link is for the Futaba J. This is the one you need for the JR system

Same as the other but with a different connector.

man, if thats your car and body on it your gonna need to cut some holes! Cut out a 2 inch hole in the front windshield in front of the engine, then cut out about half of the rear window on the side the engine is on. If you don't cut something out your engine isn't gonna last to long.
