i know...

I know this has been asked 100s of times but im looking for a buggy or a truggy that is good quality - a kit - not very expensive (maybe 600$ max) 1/10 or 1/8 and is fast. And it would be nice (i know this is rare) if the kit came with everything incling engine + electrics. What should i get?
Thanks
- Crowdie

P.S: This will be the first car i build.... all my others are rtr.

I dont think the kit will come with all that jazz but you may find a hobby shop, online or local, that sells a combo deal. I still doubt it will come with everything though.

There is no high quality kit for that price with anything but maybe tires included. You need to save more money or buy a RTR.

It doesn't look like it comes with a radio and servos. And you will also need the basics glow plugs, igniter, fuel etc. :)

thats the savage x ss, it needs servo's. radio, glow plug lighter, paint for body, u can get it all for about 600 625, some where in there, i got mine going for less than the rtr.

ok dude, check it out. It will be really really tough to get a kit up and running for that price. Even an electric 1/10th scale. There are some good RTR's out there that you can take apart and put back together though! You're new to nitro so I think a good quality RTR would get you started on the right foot. I would reccomend the Losi 8ight ($525) or 8ight-T ($600) very nice RTR and right around your budget too. One other quality RTR is the team associated RC10GT2 RTR 1/10th nitro stadium truck (2wd) for around $279. I feel your pain, I'd like to build a kit as well but for a minimum of $800 just to get started makes no sense for me since I dont race. I did decide to change the grease for diff oil and make a few changes so I went ahead and took the whole thing apart and rebuilt it....like a kit.

Your only other option is to wait and save more money...

...comfortably... the tmaxx is a 1/10th scale witha small block engine, the Sav will outpace and outbash it. Different class.
