Need help identifying this engine.

My friend bought a used HPI RS4. The guy we bought it says it's hardly been ran, and the engine is new, but it has been broken in. We got it running today, but it was running pretty bad, and the car was very very clean. I feel that this engine has not been run before, thus not broken in. I need to find the factory needle settings for this engine, and I can't find anything anywhere. I don't even know if it's a .12 or .15 or .18. Here are some pictures.

It looks like an older HPI engine with an upgraded head . I would just richen the needles and start from there .

Usually the discplacement will be stamped on the side of the crankcase - remove the manifold to check if it's there ;)
