1/10 Scale Off-Road TIRE REMOVAL?

What is the best way to remove a 2.2" tire from rim after it has been CA glued on?

You're not rude. I searched and found the answer....boil or bake them to soften the glue.

Thanks,

What boiling and baking (which really sinks the house up) does is crystallize the glue. I prefer boiling and has all ways worked well for me.

Thanks, I think I'll go with the boiling method...

There's an added benefit to boiling the rims--it can help the rims live longer by "rejuvenating" the plastic(depending on what type of plastic). As plastics age, they off-gas and lose moisture content making them brittle, so boiling can offset this and add a little flex capability in as well.
