Grease Problems Please Help!
Hello All,
In the middle of building the TT01 Chassis, I ran out of the Tamiya Grease that came with the kit. What can I substitute the grease with? Can I use Damper oil, WD-40, or Vaseline? If I have to run out and buy some grease, what type of grease can I buy that is available at Walmart? It's 2:24 am right now. Thank you for your help! I would like to finish building by morning! VS |

jeez you went through it fast, I always have some left over after my builds. Of the remedies you mentioned, damper oil will work (provided its silicone based).

Thank guys!
It was at middle of the night while I build this and I really wanted to finish it! So I took Sheograph's idea and use dimper oils to finish the build. I hope there are no reprocussion for using damper oil instead of grease. Yes I added the alu shaft, ball bearing kit, and drift tires... I think I will add the shock next and an 19T motor with heatsink. I'm also in the middle of converting my TA02 chassis into graphite and making it to a drift machine as well. Here's the picture of my newly built chassis. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...rs/Chassis.jpg Any comments and suggestion are most welcome. VS |
