what charger will work?

Dont know much about battery chargers except that there are tons to choose from. I ordered a xray m18mt and it doesnt come with a charger. It comes with a 6 cell nimh battery, should i upgrade this battery? And if not which charger should i get? Will any nimh charger work? thanks

I would say this is a great charger. Price is not bad and it works. As long as you dont think u will be going lipo i would say get this. IF you think you will go lipo then just buy a lipo charger now and not have to upgrade later.

If i were to upgrade to lipo would it give me more speed and longer runtimes in a xray m18mt?

yes
it would have more punch off the line cuz its lighter
and if you get a 3cell lipo it will be a lot faster same with a 2cell
but 3cell has more voltage

they will get you more runtimes 2
i have heard that lipos remain at their peak like performance
then they drop

If i were to upgrade to lipo would i need to change anything else in the car to handle it or just the battery and im good to go?
