The savage is very durable ans easy to get parts for. The T-maxx is faster but IMO it's not as durable as a savage. If you want fast and durable get a savage and a hyper21 8 or a xtm 24.7 port and just sell the stock 21bb on e-bay or something

eh this is where arguments start, both are very durable, both will break, tmaxx is faster, savage has slightly better handling. It's up to you. I personally chose a Monster Pirate jus recently so I can stand out from the crowd. Also look into the PIrate 10, they are very niec for the price. Jus get an upgrade for the spur gear.

Best advice in my opinion is to see what lives in your area.

Do a little research and answer a couple of questions for yourself.

1.What model or models does your hobby shop carry?

2.What models does your hobby shop consistantly stock parts for?

3.What is the most popular truck on your street or local parking lot?

Once you answer these questions, chances are you will have the answer to your initial question.

Its good to have a model that is supported by your local hobbyshop and a model that is popular with the other bashers in your area.

As to which one is better or faster or whatever, that is not a concern in my opinion. Most of the trucks out there like the Maxx, Savage etc. are all great trucks. Thing is though that while a Maxx might be a great truck, its worthless without parts and support if you have problems.
Once you become more seasoned in R/C you can reach out and try whatever you want.

Just mine
