back into rc!
well ive been away from my rc's for a while now like about 8 months because of getting my grades in order and stuff and i realized the other day how much i miss rc's so now im gettun ready clean my hobby space thats filled with uselss things that we throw in the garage and get ready to start my old rc10gt with the Os .18 it has in it................... so i wanted to ask is there anything i should do to the rc before i far it up or should i just put the gas and go?

I'd put a few drops of oil down the carb/glow plug hole and cycle it first so you won't be dry scrubbing anything while trying to start it up.
Make sure nothing is lose, tighten all screws, especially ones prone to vibrations. Check alignment, linkages, slop, batteries, proper controller operation. I'd say then you're pretty much safe and good to go. |
