nw MT2 mill

Looking to replace the .15 in my old MT2. Would like to hear from people who have swithed engins and what they swaped too.

Have you got the SS or the RTR? The reason I ask is cos if you put a REALLY strong engine in there, like an OS 18TZ for instance, it will rip the RTR drivetrain to shreds in short order. If you have the RTR I'd recommend a nice high revving sports .12. If you have the SS, try the TZ, it's not an expensive mill. How much you want to spend?

mamba 4600 and 3s, so you can treat the nirtos like a redheaded step sister, it will shread some gears from time to time but thats the cost of POWER.

I have a TZ in my HPI MT 1 ¾ but not only did I have to put all the SS up grades but more. The TZ is way too much engine and I recommend something like the OS 18 CV-RX, which is more then enough for the MT. Even with the CV-RX you should up grade the drive train. If his MT2 came with the T 15 it had to be the RTR version.

No matter what engine you put in get some heavy duty final gears (ring and pinion)! If the T15 came in it stock it has to be a RTR. You will all so need engine mounts.
