hyperion charger question
 

soon to buy a 5000mah 11.1v battery from maxamps

there are few a hyperion charges iv looked at and and i dont really know which one i need...
here is what i found

1. the eoso606iad for 139.95
or
2. the eos610i for 169.95
both are towards the bottom

What I know...
The 06i has a max output power of 50w.
50/11.1=4.5 amps, so you won't quite be able to charge at 1C.
The 610i offers 250w of output power, so you'd be good up to 6S at 11000mah.
250/22.2=11.261

my friend got the 06i with the 5000mah 11.1n lipo battery from maxamps

im guessing thats why he has some what a short run time maybe?? do to 4.5amps

Probably not. It's the charge time that suffers. It's not that it can't charge it, it just can't charge it as quickly.
I have the 6i, but I don't plan on running higher than 2S. Of course, that'll probably change now that I've said it a couple times..... :)
