Battery tips...

Ok, so here's the deal today I bought a Trinity EP4600 7-cell racing pack and was wondering what the best charge would be off a Prophet Plus II?
The guys up at the lhs said that it can charge it, but don't know what the best charge for it would be. One of the other guys in the store said since it has the milli-amps of 1,2 and 4 to charge on 2 milli-amps because it would be best for the cells. I than thought I should do it on 1 milli-amp because it's a new battery. Should I listen to the man in the store or do what I suggested myself??

All suggestions are accepted. :D:D:D

The best for a new battery is to use an old wall charger around c/10 for 15 hrs (460 ma) If you have one that is close to 420 ma then divide 6300 by the rate to get the number of hrs and put it on an apliance timer.
