The truggy (i say) will never be "bashed". Its going to be strictly a racer to compete with the big names to prove a point (names arent everything). Im going to get the xtm sleeve and piston to keep the stock engine, and upgrade the servos and radio. Already have a new body on the way. The emxt is the basher, I want to see how high i can get it (ordering brushless setup next week). The lightning is the drifter. And thanks by the way.

So Eddie I got that picture of the windmill but not the aftermath. I also got pictures here of a couple custom additions to the truck and the new Spektrum Dx3.0 radio system and the new z590 steering servo installed. One pic is of the bumper I made for it and the custom work stand I built complete with turntable.

Thanks! Appreciated the advice on the new radio system too I think it's gonna work great. But now I have an extra receiver you know what that means right? Time for a new toy I'm open to suggestions for a backyard basher/racer.

And, Does anyone know how to mount the motor tight? after i swaped this brushless on, the pinion gear will skip on the big center gear if i run the vehicle slowly against a wall and i wont crawl up the wall anymore, just the gears skipping. i tried a few times, holding it in together as much as i can and tightened the two bolts, but it still grinds. =(

do you mean the mesh is too loose? You may have to use different mounting holes on it, there should be 4 holes in the motor.

yeah the mesh i lose, it shows when much torque is required.
just differnt mounting holes would that much difference?
ok ill do that on weekend, cos i think i saw like at least 6 holes there i picked two random ones. lol

oh well, does any of the nitro trucks come with a sealed radio box? cos i kinda wanna get one and use on this truck. cos the one i made i have to glue seal it everytime, such a hassle.

i will check and see, the 1/8ths like the rancho have a decently sealed box but i dont know how you would make that work.

i would probably just tie the box to something, if the receiver fits in the box, the futaba receiver is bigger than the stock himoto though (not shown in my pictures)
