hello
i am painting a gt 40 in white and was wondering if someone could tell me if i need to paint a 2nd coat of what color paint to make it look right thanks

you should be fine if your going white, some colors like a pearl or candy red/blue need a silver or white background but with a solid color like white you should be fine.

thanks eddie and kuppler....LEDs would set it off...now if i can get my car up and running....eddie is sending me my center gear box...my throttle gear (39 tooth) keeps breaking?????....eddie himoto doesnt happen to make the throttle gears in metal do they?

no metal bro,  maybe try a different clutch bell, could be out of round or something. I use the rs4 clutch bell with the 17 and 22 pinions.

that comes as a threaded clutch bell, you thread different teeth onto it, since its a 2 speed, you have to put 2 gears on the clutch bell.  Basically its the same thing as the one you have now but with removable teeth.  Tower hobbies and other hobby shops have them.  Its for hpi,  same teeth pitch.  If you doing the mesh correctly and you keep going thru gears, the clutch bell is the only thing i can think of.  I would suggest buying just the gears, you dont need to get the whole trans setup, its alot cheaper to get the gears only.

Yeah, i knew the pro would, its based off the rxb and rxt but I really like the lite version also, so far so good, will get more run time in over the weekend.

i have some decent video of the 2 trucks and a little of the rxb, i used a dvd camcorder and when i rip it to the computer the quality is terrible, i am trying again with some different settings.  I hope i can get it right :(
