Help!

I can't get the rubbery connector thing onto the end of the pipe. I've already broken one rubbery connector thing trying, and this is my last one :(

I can't believe I'm being outfoxed by a rubbery connector thing, anyone have any tips as to how to get it on there?

LOL @ rubbery thingy. I think it's called a coupler. looks pretty small for the pipe. What kind of pipe is that? Maybe send the company an email and ask them for ideas. Or go to the hardware store in the plumbing dept and see if there is a possible rig job you can make work

funny

the pipe goes in the coupler

not the coupler in the pipe

sheograth

try putting the coupler in boiling water to heat it
- don't use a torch -
and some lube on the pipe

you could also round the sharp edges in a bit
but w/o altering the groove for the zip-tie

are you sure that you have the right size coupler?

RE: Help!

Gah I got it on.

Stretched it with pliers and forced it. It's the same size as the one that came with the pipe :/ (which I tore).

Anyway, I can calm down now it seems.

In the future, you can also try some dish soap. That seems to get things slippery enough for even the most difficult of rubbery thingys [&:]

Your word choice is impeccable [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

I've made mistakes much more worse then a rubber thingy in a r/c pipe.
Like spraying electric motor spray in a brand new tekin esc, luckly I only had to pay 100 bucks for a new r1 pro, it's a 225 dollar esc though...not cheap :/
