Shocks

When i was cleaning my MXT-2S i took off the shocks to wipe them off and fill up the fluid. I filled them to the top and when i screwed them back together and compressed them a few times, i notice a little pinhole in each of them at the top. fluid was leaking out of the pinholes. wondering why the holes are there?

they are overfill holes, they will stop leaking when the shock oil goes to the correct level.
