I new to R/C Nitro Trucks and was wondering if someone could give me some suggests, I'm on a budget and would like to make modifactions as i go along.

What kind of budget? We need to know how much you want to spend before we can be of much help.

about $300 to begin with. but i plan to make mods after.

If you are going to race at all, I would suggest an Associated RC10GT. The RTR version is about $290 and pretty tough for just bashing. Best of all there are MANY upgrade parts for sale for it so you can make it scream in the future.
The Losi XXXNT is a little more, and IMO a little better to start off with if you are going to race because of better radio and ball bearings. It is also a little more expesnive in RTR form (around $340 i think) and does not have near the aftermarket upgrade support the RC10GT does. It is however at least as good or better than the RC10GT. For just bashing alone I would get the new Traxxas Rustler 2.5. It's screamin fast and has some nice begginer features. There is some aftermarket support for it and it could be a contender for local racing. Just my $.02 |

now is the Associated Rc10GT and Losi XXXnt buggies or trucks. I want a truck and will probably be off-road most of the time in mud or on th rocks. r kits any cheaper than rtrs. thanx for the help you've already given me.

They are both trucks.
I would say that RTR's are cheaper for the overall package but if you were to just buy the kit is is cheaper, but more costly to get a running truck. |

do u no if their 4x4 and any good off-road, and can a solid axle be put on any of the 3

define solid axle.....
my friend has the team losi, and i got the rc10gt. i would save up for the losi cuz the engine is better, handles better, much better radio, and is built better, also everything is very secure! |

by solid axle i mean one that uses leaf springs like the bruiser or a 4-link setup

No, these definitely do not use a solid axle, nor are there any kits for such a thing. Sounds to me like you want a montster truck of some sort.
