Hands Down Which is a Better Esc
 

Doing alot of reading and its between Novak Gtb or the Lrp Tc Spec Esc's.Hands down which is the one that is the best and why,my self i think i will go it the Lrp,but let me know what u guys think.

I had a LRP Sphere and did not like it at all as the GTB is a lot easier to program , along with it has plugs incase you need to replace a fan , switch , or rx lead . Novak is the only ESCs I buy .

2-3 years ago the LRP Sphere and Sphere Competition were among the best sensored ESCs out there (though very expensive), today Novak has pretty much caught up and their prices are generally better too.

The TC is touring car. the sphere comp is for offroad. I hear alot of people use lrp comp esc/novak motor. they say it is easier to program and has more accelration.

so what is that mean,u can't use it for offroad.Because i will be using it for offroad,is that going to be a problem or is it ok.

You could use it for offroad but the profiles are set for onroad which can cause traction issues when running offroad . There is a reason why they make a separate offroad and onroad ESCs , use accordingly .

what kind of traction issues will i have with it,don't understand what could that be.

Like it will be instant accelration which can cause uncontrollable wheelspin and you will spin out.

I hear most racers prefer the sphere competition and has a slight edge over the GTB, but use the novak motors. I don't own either, I've used a gtb and it seemed fine, I really don't think you'll notice any significant difference. I'd say castle's mamba max is better built,better featured esc for the money, which is way cheaper than either of those two, but it doesn't have a sensor port.
