please help
 
can some body please help me i have a 2 week old 2.5r engine and i cant get it to runright to save my life can someone please help me . im new here and to the rc scene .thank you in advance

wellwhen you try to start it it will spin over but it take about 5 minutes of messing with it before it will start and run and after you run it for a few minutes it will die and not start up at all it has got new glow plug in it even wen i try to prime it does not work either

You need to tune it. Check you LSN(Low speed needle) and HSN(High Speed Needle) settings. Those motors are fairly easy to tune and it shouldn't take you long. For the LSN to be tuned right you need to, get the motor started and running, pinch the fuel line(hard), the motor should die within 2-3 seconds. If it takes less time you're too lean, if it takes longer you're too rich. Once the LSN is tuned you tune the HSN with it running. It shouldn't bog down when you hit the throttle and there should be a faint trail of blue smoke. Make sure to run top fuel in it too, Traxxas motors don't really like to run on other brands as well.

It sounds to me like your motor is bad. You must have not broken in the engine correctly. When the engine is hot the piston sleeve expands causing you to lose compressions. When you let it sit for 5 mins the sleeve is cool and it will start right up again. This is a good sign of a bad motor.
