Do you grease your dogbones?
 
Doing a rebuild today and decided to grease the ends of the dogbones.
Anyone else grease them?

heck yeah! it a movable part that can cause fiction.

greasing them can catch dirt,sand, small rocks and cause extra wear and tear so I don't personally. Just my opinion.

i would just constantly add some oil to it instead of using grease, you will find the thing jammed up with crap pretty soon if you use grease.

i put a dab of grease on them but make sure there is a sliver of fuel line or one of the small o rings in there to take up the slack.

I dont grease Mine, but I am pretty Anal about maintenance.
I take my cars apart so often that they dont really have the opportunity to stay Gunked up.....
I Do spray them with a dry graphite lube sometimes, and Like Eddie, I use a sliver of fuel line to cushion them and take up some slack.

I dont grease Mine, but I am pretty Anal about maintenance.
i vouch for this one... every time i turn my head rich has one of his RC's all torn apart. and its always the last RC he had running when we went bashing.

i leave them dry, because like rod said, they can catch dirt and grit and ware them down faster... so don't

i have a sylicone base like wd40 it keep rust ,water proof and dirt off works great ..and i paint mine real bright colours so if you lose one easy to spot
