Rustler handling

I wanted to know if there was a way to make my Rustler VXL handle better on a dirt track, because I went to the track in Rotonda Florida and I could bearly make the turns?

Thanks

2 words, throttle control!!!

No matter how many upgrades you put on the rustler, it is still going to be a rustler. But I would rebuild the shocks with 30 wt oil in them and limit the throttle so you not going full thjrottle on a 3s lipo al the time and you should be good.

look into better shocks better springs and go down to a 2.2 size rim and get some prolines. also the throttle control u cant blast it through curve reduce the throttle b4 you enter the turn

Fast is slow in the hobby. Brake into the corners, accelarate out of them. Change to 2.2 rims and get some bowtiews if its dusty or some holeshots if its hard packed wet clay. Get some good proline ribbled up front. change your shock( losi shocks are GREAT)put some 30wt oil in them. Your can always benifit from a good servo. I know its a lot but that will get you headed in the right direction. Like Chris said it will always be a rustler, if your racing your better off with a T4 or xxxt-cr.

RE: Rustler handling

One of the biggest improvements in handling that I have seen with my VXL Rusty is when I replaced the front and rear shock towers with RPM parts. The factory towers (especially the front) are way too flexible for nice, tight handling.
