RC8 RTR raido

I just ordered the RC8 RTR from tower. When I was at the LHS today they had a SC8. I lifted the lid to look at the radio box and it had a frequency of 26.xxx. I thought this came with a FM radio. isn't 26.xxx a AM channel. Whats the deal. Do they give you a FM raido with a AM chystel?

I believe there is a 27 AM and a 27 FM.

26? i thought it was 75 or 27 for surface...

you have two bands, AM and FM, and within each band, you have two frequency bands, 27 mHz and 75 mHz, 27 only has a few channels, where 75 has far more. AE does offer a 75 mHz modulator and receiver for that radio if you want to upgrade.

but is chennal 1 in fm the same as chennal 1 in am. I am wondering if i will run into a issue at the track.
