As you know I just got a Slash yesterday..... for some reason I'm into these Slash style cars these days....

Now I want a Losi Slider too! what's wrong with me...

I thought I will be satisfied after I got the Slash.

Once you own 15+ rc's - currently own, not have owned" then you can complain. Untill then you're just getting started.

There aint anything wroing with you, you fool:D In my SavageJim diagnosis, I will now identify whats wrong with you: You are officially addicted to RCs!

LOL, I'm just like you, I first bought an R40 as my very first RC years ago (I dont even know if that RC is in production anymore).
Then, looking at an HPI catalogue, I bought my very first Savage after looking on line fore several months. I scored really big when I bought a used Savage for $50! It was trashed, but I rebuilt the engine and tossed in my own electronics (The previous kid ripped those all out) and I got it going.
Eventually, I bought parts galore to keep that Savage going, so many parts that I built TWO other separate Savages. One of those became my second bashers, so if I crash my primary basher (and I did, ALOT), I just busted out the back-up and continued bashing! The other spare Savage, I made initially into a shelfqueen because I bought the New Era Models twin engine kit, but I eventually upgraded that to where I can actually take it out and run it.
Over the past few months, I acquired 2 FG 5th scale gassers to add to my little fleet.

Everywhere I go I look at stuff and ask myself...how can I use this for R/C ?
Is this action classified, an addiction,or a compulsive disorder ?
example of my finds; I use a dish drying wire rack turned upside down to sit my t-maxx on.:)
Can anybody relate to this kind of behavior ?

No, I do the same. When I drive by a construction site and see all the dirt mounds I immediately think "That would be great for me to launch one of my Savages from!"
Or even if I drive by an open field, I get a feeling wishing I had an RC to take out and run!

Every time I see a big field i either go "man if only i had my plane/car with me". One of these days im getting into a skate park.... showin those kids what real stunts are :D

I feel like that too. Right now im at a slow spot, all i want is tires wheels and a new body. but some days it changes from airplanes to helis and 1/8 nitro conversions and micros... I would say stick with the slash for 2 or 3 months and if you still want the slider then, maybe you should get it.

Your addicted! lol I have always wondered do the losi sliders actually slide? Every time I see one there racing on dirt but they look like normal oval racers.

I too have a confession. I'm addicted to RC's. Spend all my spare money to maintain and upgrade, and now that the Summit has come out, I want one of them too. Already have 4 cars that I run, and still want more. The Mini T I started with wasn't enough, so I got a 2.5 Revo. That wasn't good for running in tight areas, or at night over rough ground, so I added a Mini LST. That was great once lights were added. Then, I saw a Duratrax Evader ST, very similar to the Losi XXX-T, so I added that. It seems like the more cars you get, the more you want.

I told myself I wouldn't buy another car for a year. That lasted about a month thanks to my neighbor. Then he tells me he has more cars he'd like to sell. I said Oh God, get me out of this house before I'm broke!!! :D And now a few of the guys at work have bought those Mini helicopters... [:@][&:]

The last time I counted I had 46 RC's. About 40 where complete and running and another 6 that needed minor repair. I have about 20 more chassis that are laying around that could run if I made an effort. Now for the Bad part. Since I counted last I've picked up 3 old MRC world scale cars (two trucks, one buggy). Bought another slash, Tamiya pajero, hotshot, Tundra, Fire dragon and twin detonator. I currently have pre-orders for the Tamiya countach, New subaru WRX and boomerang. I've picked up a few old hornet's/ super hornets, a tamiya drift car and a several others misc brands that I'm sure I'm forgetting. The local hobby shop is also trying to get an idea on when the new 1/16 scale traxxas trucks will be out. I've already told them to place the order as soon as they're announced. I don't even want to think about the number of bodies, batteries, chargers, tires etc etc etc that I have laying around. There's nothing wrong with you. There may be something wrong with me :) but this hobby is addictive. I've actually started hiding them in the garage.

There are only two things slowing down the growth of my RC garage. One is space, have a small apartment and don't have room for a lot of RC cars. Two is that every time I go to the hobby shop, I end up broke. Nothing wrong with it, as long as the neccessary bills get paid. It is VERY addicting though. Enjoy.

P.S. I still WANT a Summit.
