yep...sounds right to me. Some engines don't have one.....1-piece head. Those with 2-piece heads.....pat 1 = heatsink, part 2 = head button (that holds glowplug)

Yes that would be the head button. Once I stripped the head button by screwing the glow plug in at an angle (which I did not know at the time) until I tried to screw another glow plug in. I find it easy to turn the car on it's side so you can clearly see that you are screwing it in straight and not at an angle. Go easy on the head button. It is easily stripped.

I personally haven't stripped one, but just for future reference, if I do happen to strip on in the future would it be possible to run a tap through it without causing damage? And yes I know I would have to remove it first...lol....

The trouble with stripping head buttons and plugs is that you get tiny shards of metal in the cylinder. Make sure you strip and thoroughly rinse the engine before using it again.

PS. Don't try retapping it.

Use nitro fuel to flush it, it's expensive but better than using wd40. You will have to completely disassemble the engine. Never let any water anywhere near your engine internals.

Water big NO NO. Hahaha Fuel is always the best option or WD-40 for backup.
