threadlock screw

Hey. I am trying to get this grub screw out of my Losi 8ight-t. I put blue threadlock on it a couple of weeks ago. It seems pretty firmly screwed in. How can I remove it?

Use a soldering iron to apply heat to the head, once it has a chance to heat up the threadlock will release. Just be careful not to overheat stuff and melt/damage something adjacent/atatched.

Cool. Thanks. I'll give that a try.

What is the size of the allen driver that the grub needs to nscrew it?

If it is 3mm, you shoule be able to muscle it out without any stripping. The grub will break free with a small "pop" and then simply unsccrew out.

But if it is a smaller allen driver that is needed, say like a 2.5mm or especially if it is smaller, definitely, do the heat trick that Dave mentioned.

Never thought of that...Good idea.

Acetone works well on stubborn threadlock too, just don't heat it while it's wet with acetone. You might have to apply it a couple of times but it will soften and disolve the Loctite.
